Wood by Woos was built from the ground up on craftsmanship, dedication, and a love for bringing wood to life. It all started back in 2003, when I worked as a superintendent for Gooden Homes. There, I developed a solid foundation in construction, repair, and fine woodworking.

When the oil spill hit and Gooden Homes closed its doors, I took a leap of faith and started my own business—serving many of Gooden’s former customers and building my reputation entirely through word of mouth.

Based in Pensacola, Florida, and mainly serving the Emerald Coast—including Lillian, Alabama, all the way to Maryland and Jackson, Mississippi—I specialize in WDO (wood-destroying organism) repair, home interior upgrades, and custom woodworking projects.

In 2015, a trip to Las Vegas sparked a new passion when I discovered 3D laser-etched acrylic art. That inspiration led me to explore epoxy resin work, where I taught myself everything through trial, error, and plenty of hands-on experimentation.

Today, I run Wood by Woos out of my own garage workshop, equipped with an X-Carve machine and Cricut system. Every piece I make—whether it’s a repair, a remodel, or a custom design—is crafted with the same pride, precision, and care that have defined my work since day one.
